What are cookies?

“Cookies” are small text files automatically created when accessing to a specific Website, with the aim of carrying out electronic authentications, monitoring sessions and storing specific information about the User and his/her web-browsing.

Types of cookies.

Session cookiesTheir duration corresponds to a browsing session and they automatically disappear at the end of it.
Persistent cookiesThey remain stored in Users’ terminal equipment also after the end of the browsing session, until the scheduled expiry date.
First party cookiesThey belong to the visited Website, which directly transmits them to the visitor.
third party cookiesThey belong to a third party website other than the one visited by the User. The owner of the visited Website has no control on these cookies and on their relative information. Their eventual disablement does not affect in any way the browsability of the Website.
